About the Authors

wrinting authors Mary Russell is a senior educational researcher at the National Center on Adult Literacy (NCAL), University of Pennsylvania. She is presently conducting a national three-stage research project on three technology–mediated models of professional development as part of the TECH21 project. She was project manager for the design and development of ESL/CivicsLink and the Professional Development Kit, web-based systems for adult educator professional development.
