Workplace Essential Skills Training Module

7. Roadblocks to Implementation

As a follow-up to the previous conversation, ask participants to consider roadblocks to implementation. It might help to have them recall the first activity of the day. Use the following question as a catalyst:

  • What roadblocks to implementation do you foresee in your program?

Record participants' responses on a flipchart. You might want to add a few roadblocks to the list yourself, based on your experiences with implementation.

Once folks have had the opportunity to list "roadblocks," engage them in a discussion of possible solutions and next steps.
