TECH21 Training Modules -- Table of Contents

The training modules available here are meant to be resources for professional developers who want to help adult education programs implement a variety of technology-related literacy and adult education products. They have been produced by adult education professional developers. It is the goal of TECH21 to provide these professional development training materials free-of-charge to the adult education professional community.

Most of the modules will be for one-day trainings about specific technology products. The modules are as complete as possible with background information, agendas, handouts, and essential questions to pursue. We have started with those products closest to NCAL because of our major role in their original development -- Workplace Essential Skills, ESL/CivicsLink, and GED Connection -- and will now be gathering similar training modules for additional products.

Several of the modules will be for more lengthy professional development such as our first module on Technology Integration, produced by a team of Michigan professional developers. This training requires a 2 day kick-off, several weeks online, and then 2 days wrap up. This longer time span has proven to be most effective for the topic.
