Focusing on the Projects

Objectives:
-
To help participants reflect back on their own experiences
in working with their projects and provide a common framework for
the group consideration of the projects.
-
In this session facilitators will remain silent,
giving participants room for quiet reflection.
-
Participants will focus on questions about their
project and begin to consider next steps.
Activity
- Participants individually fill out "Pre-Presentation Reflections"
Template (printed material).
- The
template will then be available to the participant as a reference
during their presentation.

Transitioning Statement
Facilitators now encourage participants to take
a break and remind participants that upon their return, they will
be encouraged to present the results of their projects to the group.
| This activity is intended to be an individual time
of reflection, and facilitators should tell participants that their
answers on the handout will remain private and not be shared with
the group. Participants fill out a template that helps them focus
on three areas of their projects. First, any questions or concerns
that remain about the project, second, any positive outcomes from
their project, and third, any negative outcomes. |
