Overview of Workshop II

Objectives:

  • To give participants an overview of the two-day workshop and allow participants input on the activities of the two days.
  • In this session, facilitators will review the agenda for the two-day workshop. Participants will suggest areas of interest that they would like to explore in during the workshop.

Activity

  1. Welcome back and name review.
  2. Discuss Housekeeping issues (bath rooms, fire escape route, breaks/lunch, etc)
  3. Using agenda as framework, discuss workshop agenda.
  4. Review list; modify/add according to participantsŐ feedback.

Transitioning Statement

Participants must move now from the excitement of seeing each other again to the business at hand. This next activity is a time for quiet reflection of the work already done by participants.

During this time, we also reviewed the initial participants' definitions of technology integration. We wanted to see if they had changed and if so, in what ways. In most cases, we found that the definitions had been expanded by the process of going through the Institutes.
