Reflection on Next Steps

Objectives:

To provide space for participants to reflect on next steps in their use of the inquiry model, and to begin to construct a plan to implement after the workshop.

Activity

Participants fill out the 'Reflections on Next Steps' Template and upload them to the Yahoo Group. Using the template, participants reflect on their experience during the workshop, things they have learned during the workshop that they would like to implement in their classroom, and consider changes they might make as a result of attending the workshop over the next week, month, and year. Also, they consider the ways they might continue to collaborate after the workshop concludes. Participants then discuss and share their next steps.

Transitioning Statement

Facilitators may want to encourage participants to continue to share ideas via the PDK or Yahoo discussion groups.
