Reviewing Inquiry Model

Objectives:

  • To allow participants to review the Inquiry Model in light of their projects, to bring to the group any questions and concerns about the use of the model, and to set a framework for participants to consider continuing inquiry into their practice.
  • During this time the facilitators will review the inquiry model with references to the participants inquiry projects, solicit questions about the model, and prompt participants to consider continuing the use of the inquiry model in their practice.
  • Participants will consider the inquiry model in light of their projects, ask questions about the model, and consider ways of continuing use of the model in their practice.

Activity

Using the PowerPoint presentation as a guide, the facilitators will lead a review of the Inquiry Model, and provide a space for participants to ask any questions about the model and to consider ways to continue their inquiry of their practice after the workshop is over.

Transitioning Statement

Participants will move from the group review of the inquiry model to considering its impact on their continuing practice. Optional: 'Three Minute best classroom experiences.' Facilitators begin by sharing a high point in their careers as Adult Educators. Participants who wish to share their high points as Adult Educators.
