GED Connection Training Module

4. Reflection and Discussion

Depending on the size of your group, ask participants to divide into 2 or 4 smaller discussion groups, according to their assigned topic areas. So, you will have 1-2 groups focusing on social studies and 1-2 groups focusing on science.

Ask participants to discuss the following two issues in their small groups:

  • What questions do you have about these products?
  • Based on your experience reviewing social studies or science resources, how might the GED Connection fit into your learning environment and curriculum?

After 15-20 minutes, invite participants to share their reflections with the whole group. Discuss their questions, the connections between media, and the challenges of integrating multiple resources into a learning environment (as a segue into the next section.)
