EFA Training Module

Materials

The following materials are needed for the English For All (EFA) training:

  • 1 full set of the EFA video series (5 videos)
  • EFA training handouts
  • EFA Overview (PowerPoint file)
  • Name tags
  • Pens/pencils (one per participant)
  • Writing pads (one per participant)
  • 8 1/2 x 11 paper, cut in half (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) – one half-sheet per participant
  • Markers (various colors)
  • Flipchart paper/easel
  • Blackboard and chalk (or use flipcharts)
  • Tape
  • 3x3 Post-it notes, various colors (enough to give 5 to each participant)
  • 2 TV/VCR set-ups (if possible, place one in a break-out room)
  • LCD projector & demonstration computer equipped with PowerPoint
  • A small bell (for classroom management in the lab)
  • Computer lab equipped with
    • Netscape 7.1 / Explorer 6.0 or higher
    • QuickTime Player
    • Adobe Acrobat Reader
    • Macromedia Flash Player
  • High speed Internet connection
