I am from
NY originally, but have been living in Pennsylvania for most of
my life. My mother is French (Swiss and Breton actually) and my
father is an American of mixed descent. I completed a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Visual Anthropology in 1997. I am the Technology
Coordinator for SLTP this summer and encourage you to tell me about
your technological interests and concerns. Since graduating, I have
been working as a freelancer in film and video production. Last
year I worked as an associate producer for the GED 2000, an educational
television series produced in conjunction with LITLINK, which is
a collaboration between NCAL and PBS (Public Broadcasting Station).
I am also making a documentary called Picture Me an Enemy, which
is an exploration of the war in the former Yugoslavia with a focus
on the role of the media in representing conflict. I am currently
looking at graduate programs, which would combine my interest in
International Relations and Media studies. I love to travel and
learn about other cultures, listen to music, see films, and eat
good food! |
