- THE LITERACY PROGRAM FOR ADULT LEARNERS INCREASED FROM 1 YEAR TO 3YEARS
- ADULT EDUCATION CENTERS WAS CREATED IN ALL PROVINCES
- THE NUMBER OF ADULT LEANERS INCREASED IN VILLEGES,
INTERPRISES, AND COMMUNAL VILLEGES

*FROM 1995/6 THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION DESIGNED THE EDUCATIONAL SECTOR STRATEGIC PLAN FOR BASIC EDUCATION WITH FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES:
TO ACCESS THE PEOPLE THE BASIC EDUCATION ( THE GENDER IS THE PRIORITY)
TO GIVE BETTER QUALITY THE EDUCATION
TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY BUILDING

- EVALUATION OF LITERACY AND ADULT EDUCATION, AND NON-FORMAL EDUCATION:
The actual Literacy and Adult Education, Non-Formal Education present some problems and Challenges wich need to be consider and deeply reflected .
The most critical problems and challenge refers to:
*Training the human resouces
- To develop the curriculum for training cadre
- To produce and print the teaching material for Adult Learnes as well as Non-formal Education
- To creatthe competenteand functional structure for LAE and NFE.
- Identification of Literacy, NFE methodology which take in consideration the diversity cultural and linguistic among province, region.
- Development of the strategy women mobilization and her mentainance in Literacy and NFE .
