- User Education Programme: Consists of orientation programmes for
the general public and class visits for students. The objective
of these programmes is to introduce the general public and students-
from primary to junior college levels, to the library services,
policies, facilities and resources
- Basic Information Literacy Programme (BILT): Is a hands-on programme
in the use of NLBs resources and databases. Customers are
equipped with the necessary lifelong learning skills needed to locate
information
- InfoPaths: Pathways to Information: Are courses targeted at corporate
clients, government workers, other institutions, as well as the
general public. The InfoPaths programme is customised and value-added
to make clients, regardless of their IT background, more infosavvy.
Its information, not IT thats important here. The courses
empower our clients to efficiently and effectively manage information
in the new knowledge-based economy
Our ILP programmes are designed, developed and delivered by a team
of qualified and experienced professional librarians who specialise
in information literacy and knowledge management training. Our profile
forms enable us to customise courses to our clients specific information
needs from every walk of life.
