  • User Education Programme: Consists of orientation programmes for the general public and class visits for students. The objective of these programmes is to introduce the general public and students- from primary to junior college levels, to the library services, policies, facilities and resources

  • Basic Information Literacy Programme (BILT): Is a hands-on programme in the use of NLB’s resources and databases. Customers are equipped with the necessary lifelong learning skills needed to locate information

  • InfoPaths: Pathways to Information: Are courses targeted at corporate clients, government workers, other institutions, as well as the general public. The InfoPaths programme is customised and value-added to make clients, regardless of their IT background, more infosavvy. It’s information, not IT that’s important here. The courses empower our clients to efficiently and effectively manage information in the new knowledge-based economy

Our ILP programmes are designed, developed and delivered by a team of qualified and experienced professional librarians who specialise in information literacy and knowledge management training. Our profile forms enable us to customise courses to our clients specific information needs from every walk of life.
