Definition of Learning Materials

Learning materials are resources that if used properly, can assist a teacher in bringing about desirable behaviour change in individual learner.

Purpose of Production

The ultimate purpose of production and distribution of learning materials:

To reach the real target groups who needs those materials so that the materials will be useful and appropriate for them.

Planning of Distribution

Distribution of learning materials should be included in the planning of developing learning materials. It should

be able to answer the following questions:

Who are the target groups and what are their learning needs?

Where are they'?

How many are they?

How could we reach them?

Where is the location of production ?

What type of materials?

What kind of format ?
