Narrator: Another learning activity in the Tok-Read exercise is Language Experience. Language Experience is where the children do something together then write a story with the teacher about what they have done. With the language exercises, the children can make a Big Book, a mobile, a word tree, or a word picture. All of these are ways of involving the children in their learning, and helping them develop their thinking, listening, talking, reading, and writing skills.
