Internet Scavenger Hunt of Adult Ed Resources

Objectives:
-
Clarify that there are many types of technologies
-
Provide quality examples of technology integration
lesson plans
-
Evaluate technology integration lesson plans to
see how they could be replicated in other Adult Ed classrooms.
Activity
- Participants will work on a Scavenger Hunt for Internet resources
including the PDK website using http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/fil/pages/samadultedam.html
- Note: To encourage participants to become familiar with the
Yahoo group tool, it is a good idea to post all of the links that
you are using for the Sessions at the Group site and direct participants
there
- Using the Answer Key, the facilitator will share the correct answer
to the items on the scavenger hunt.

Answer
Key for Scavenger Hunt
| I used a free online resource called Filamentality
to create this scavenger hunt. Feel free to use mine, or create
your own. Filamentality is easy to use and lots of fun, but since
you create the links to various websites, it is important to check
the links before you use the activity. Over the course of the in-services,
I found several broken links in my scavenger hunt, but if you create
your own activities you have the authority to edit your links. Several
of our educators liked it so much, that they created their own web
based activities. |
