Tapped In Educators' Resources

Objectives:

• To introduce participants to a virtual environment that exists for educators and to demonstrate real-time "chat".
• Facilitators will demonstrate the site on the LCD.
• Participants will log in as guests and explore the site.

Activity

The facilitator will demonstrate logging on as a guest onto the Tapped In site, and introduce some of the basic commands (including help) and the chat mode. Participants will then explore the site on their own in the computer lab, with facilitators acting as guides for those that need help.
